Ablestoke is a financial management consultancy based in the City of London. Our objective is to empower our clients by giving the necessary information that enables them to make better personal, lifestyle and financial choices.

How we work

Ablestoke's unique approach to financial advice is to create a one-stop-shop for our clients. We provide a holistic service specifically designed to educate and provide direction for our clients. This enables you to make the best financial choices in order to meet your needs.

Ablestoke operates on a retainer basis. After an initial meeting and an in-depth review of your current financial position, your dedicated consultant will devise a plan of action to help you achieve your goals. The extent of activity required from us and our team of specialists (internal or external), combined with how hands on' or hands off' you want to be, will determine the level of retainer you require.

As a part of the retainer service, we will meet with you regularly to monitor your financial progress, and we proactively work behind the scenes to provide you with forward thinking solutions and new, innovative opportunities to enhance your financial position.

How you can help us

To help us give you the most appropriate advice, we will ask you to:

  • tell us as much as possible about your income and outgoings, to enable us to properly assess how much you can afford
  • let us know about changes that might affect your affordability
  • let us know if there is any aspect of our service, or of a product we have discussed or recommended that you don't understand
  • tell us if you think there are ways we can improve our service

Our clients

The majority of our clients are referred to us by existing clients and suppliers. Some have never asked for help before whilst others have been accustomed to the services of an independent financial advisor; some have only ever sought the advice of their bank whilst others are high net worth individuals looking to maximise their portfolios with sophisticated investments.

Our approach to bespoke financial planning is essential as our clients have an assortment of financial backgrounds; no one type is typical. They range from people in their vulnerable years with relatively low incomes and high protection needs to the anxious years where earning power is peaking, mortgages are nearly paid off and children are more likely to be financially independent leaving them with high disposable incomes to high net worth individuals who need guidance for setting up trusts.
